Circa 2008, little did four guys from the suburbs of Philadelphia have any idea they would be considered “professional” BBQ competitors. The fatal connection of two previous restaurateurs and two food and drink enthusiasts came about one night over dinner and drinks – where else. Amidst the usual candor of friends and testosterone, the "Hawgs" were created.

The evolution has been incredible. From the poolside BBQ parties to the ribbon ceremonies, it has been an exciting ride so far. Poolside practice as a regular weekend ritual to perfect our recipes with friends and family as critics. After two years of stuffing our families like “Hawgs” and working our way throughout the Mid-Atlantic, we invite you to watch us rock the BBQ circuit and shake up the competition. We are on a quest for not only the Holy Grail (or grog), but the big check.
